Saturated fat

Saturated fat and the plans that limit it.

Last reviewed

Saturated fat is watched for heart-related plans — high cholesterol, heart or blood pressure, and it also appears in type 2 diabetes plans. Servings over your limit are flagged as elevated or high.

A common rule of thumb is keeping saturated fat under roughly 13 g a day on a 2,000-calorie diet, but your plan’s per-serving limits are what drive the scores you see.
